Off the Back Porch, Feb - April (Nevada)

 



A funny little cloud shaped like the state of Alaska.



It's a shame, but no camera can do justice to what we see. This day was filled with spectacular sunbursts and mists woven through the clouds, and it shifted minute by minute.





We call this Carat Pond, only because it's located on Carat Drive. I'm almost sure it has some other real name, but it works for us. It's a continuation of the marsh that runs through the land down the hill and west of our house.

Whites Creek Park Loop - Nevada

A short loop hike around a portion of the White's Creek Trail in southwest Reno. There were many things that were still a few weeks away from blooming, so we'll likely have to revisit in about a month.
