Rose Knob Saddle - Incline Village, NV

We started this hike at Tahoe Meadows, instead of parking by Incline Lake. Instead of hiking to either Incline Peak (which we have done previously) or Rose Knob, we hiked up to the area between the peaks. This still allows full view of Lake Tahoe, and it was a nice way to allow us to stay in hiking boots and spikes instead of needing our snowshoes.

This area is part of the Pacific Crest Trail, where many of our hikes are part of the Tahoe Rim Trail.

We took the trail from the red part on down to where the blue GPS dot is at. In total is was around four miles on the day.

The far side of Flora Lake had a waterfall feeding out of it down the side of the mountain. It sounded lovely.
