Incline Lake to Third Peak trail - Incline, NV

This was a beautiful, short hike. We started at Incline Lake, and had intended to take a previous trail. The lateness of the day and it being our first time out in awhile, we tired quickly and decided to change course. That's one of the beautiful things about this area, there's nearly always a way to modify the plan and still see pretty things. There's lots of trails that intersect, and with a couple of minutes of investigation, there's usually a few options to fit the daylight remaining.

The aspens are beginning to turn. Over the next month they'll be spectacular.

Hedgehog getting a star turn. It's always difficult to know which friends to bring.
