Incline Peak, Nevada

 





Across the (still frozen) Incline Lake



Happiness is...being outside with nowhere to be but right where you are.








Near this beautiful old, curving tree, around this part of the peak was hard. There was no path save straight up through loose powder a couple of feet deep. A little more knowledge of the area could have helped us.





Near the top was a bit of a meadow with scatterings of trees, with paths all between them. You could go any way up, and still get there.

























Back at the bottom and just down the road, we watched the sun drift down below the northern rim of Lake Tahoe.
